That morning

- I know you're mad. You have all the reasons in the world. It's been months since my last post. Hope you'll all forgive me. Anyhow, those months weren't fruitless! I actually wrote a few new songs! So there you have it, a song a day, until they're all here.

I woke up
This morning
Feeling
Something is not the same

I smiled
So hopeful
knowing things are gonna change

Up there, In haven
An angel smiled upon the earth,
The open green meadow
No longer ruled by sticks and stones

And I know it's been a long night
I know that we need someone by our side
And we feel it's been a long time
We feel we need some good time

Up there, In haven
An angel smiled upon the earth,
The open green meadow
No longer ruled by sticks and stones

And you know you need somewhere to go
To go to feel inspired again
You don't always reap what you sow,
There's always a risk life's game

Up there, In haven
An angel smiled upon the earth,
The open green meadow
No longer ruled by sticks and stones

- You may worship me later. Or you may worship me now. Your choice. ;)

New month - almost like a new life

So here we go, a new month has begone. With it, I feel like a whole new life has started for me.
For start, me and Marina... Well... We broke-up. But for some reason, I'm still happy. Life just seems right no matter what lately.
My final exams started. Next week it's the history test. Wish me luck. :)

And now for what (or really - who) really got me to write this post (yeah, I'm lazy, take it or leave it) - Or. Who is she? Well, for starts, she is a cousin of a very good friend of mine. And now a very good friend of mine too. But... There is something more then that. We both know that. We just don't know what it is...

We started talk 6 days ago, but it's feels like we know each other forever. And... I don't know. It's just too confusing, we slowly try to figure out this thing.
Whatever it is, it's nice. I like it. And I think she is too.

So here is for new beginnings!

An urge to write

I feel this urge to write here. Don't know why, it's probably a part of the turning my life took lately. You know this feeling you sometimes have, that everything is just good? Some divine bliss that means that everything is just right, happiness that comes from within you and just washes you with warm goodness. I can really feel now, flowing in my entire body, and you might notice that as you read what I write you can feel it too. It's contagious, addictive, and just good. I hope everyone could feel life like this, make it more vivid and brighter, become aware that the stronger you feel this, the happier you get, and the happier you get the stronger this feeling gets. With every breath you take, with every word you read.
Absolute divine bliss. Want it, and it's yours.

Hypnosis - Article 001

No it's time to really start learning hypnosis!
As I promised, today we will learn the progressive relaxation induction. Now, there are many ways to do this, because all you basically do is slowly relax the subject to trance.
Here is a basic script for muscle relaxation:
-------------------------------------------------------------------
Now, release the weight of your body into the support of the floor/bed.

Notice how your back makes contact with the support of the floor/bed.

Relax the back of your legs....the back of your hips....your lower back, middle back, and upper back. Feel the weight and relaxation of the back of your body sinking through the floor/bed.

Relax the back of your shoulders / the back of your arms / the back of your neck / and the back of your head. Wiggle and make any adjustments needed to relax the back of your body into the ground more fully. Melt into the support of the floor/bed completely.

Now, notice the weight of your body. Notice the weight of your legs, as they rest on the floor. Let your legs be heavy. Let your thighs, feet and toes relax. Release, relax, let go of them completely. Let your legs drift and float and now forget about them.

Notice the weight of your hips and pelvis, as they rest on the floor/bed. Let the weight of your pelvis sink into the floor/bed.

Notice the weight of your rib cage. Let the back ribs melt into the floor/bed.

Feel your abdomen expand with each inhalation. As you exhale, let the belly fully contract. Like a giant balloon inflating and completely deflating. Relaxing deeper with each deep breath.

Notice the weight of your shoulders and arms, as they rest on the floor/bed. Let your arms be so heavy that they sink through the floor/bed. Then release them completely. Let go. Let them drift and float away and then forget about them.

Notice the weight of your head, as it rests on the floor/bed. Let the head be heavy. Feel your neck and throat release and relax.

Relax the muscles of your face / relax your eyes and eyelids / your cheeks melt into relaxation / release, relax, let go of your jaw / your forehead and eyebrows smooth and relaxed / feel your scalp melt into relaxation. Your whole head and face totally relaxed, released.

Become aware of your breathing. Notice each inhalation relaxing the front of your body, and each exhalation relaxing the whole back of your body. Breathing slow, deep and then let it go.

Breathing the body deeper and deeper into relaxation as you drift and float in peace.

As you can see, this is rather simple. What you do is basically suggest the subject to relax.
This is the main pro of this induction. Nothing to memorize at all. Another one is that it's just oh so relaxing. ;)
However, there are several cons. For starts, it usually take a lot of time (15-45 minutes). Second, for the several first times (about 3) it only gets them to a light trance, and it will probably take you at least 5 sessions to get them to a deep state. Third, and that is the most important one, is that the subject can simply fall asleep during the induction and that's not helpful.
And then, then came Dave Elman. But that's another story. ;)
